Community United Calvary Church a Non-Denominational Church in Richwood, Ohio

Welcome to Community United Calvary Church

At Community United Calvary Church (CUCC), you’ll find more than just a place to worship, you’ll find a family. We’re a non-denominational Christian church built on biblical truth, heartfelt worship, and genuine relationships.

Our mission is simple: to help people grow closer to Jesus in a real, down-to-earth way. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just beginning to explore faith, you’re welcome here…no dress code, no judgment, no pressure. Just people who love God and love each other.

We believe that church should be a place where you can come as you are, encounter the truth of God’s Word, and leave encouraged, refreshed, and ready to live out your faith.

Our Pastor

Pastor David Hudson answered God’s call to ministry at just 16 years old and has been faithfully preaching for more than 35 years. He became pastor of CUCC in 2008 and has since led the church with authenticity, humility, and an unwavering dedication to God’s truth.

Throughout his journey, Pastor Dave and his wife have been married for 32 years and have raised four children while faithfully serving in ministry.

Their commitment to both family and calling has shaped his compassionate leadership and deep understanding of the challenges and joys people face.

His preaching style is clear, relatable, and grounded in Scripture, and designed to help people apply God’s Word to their daily lives. Outside the pulpit, Pastor Dave lives out the same faith he preaches, earning respect in the community for his integrity and genuine heart.

What We Believe

CUCC is rooted in the authority of Scripture and centered on Jesus Christ. We believe:

  • The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.

  • There is one true God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who died for our sins and rose again.

  • Salvation is by grace through faith, not by works.

  • The Holy Spirit lives within believers, guiding, comforting, and empowering us to live for Christ.

  • We observe water baptism and communion as acts of obedience and remembrance.
