Frequently Asked Questions
What Should I Wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable! You’ll see everything from jeans and flannels to dress shirts and slacks. Pastor Dave often wears a suit…but that’s his personal choice, not an expectation. At CUCC, we care about your heart, not your outfit.
What's the Service Like?
Heartfelt worship. Biblical truth. Real connection.
At CUCC, Angel Hudson leads with sincerity and passion, blending classic hymns and modern praise. Pastor Dave shares relatable, truth-filled messages that meet you right where you are. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people are kind, and the focus is always on Jesus.
What About Kids & Youth?
Kids are a big part of CUCC!
We love seeing children discover who Jesus is and how much He loves them.
- Children’s Church: Sundays during the 10:30 service for ages 4–12. Our leaders make learning about God fun and meaningful through songs, crafts, and stories straight from the Bible.
- Youth Programs: Designed to help young people grow in their faith through Bible lessons, games, and genuine connection.
At CUCC, we believe kids aren’t just the future of the church…they’re a vital part of the church right now.
What Happens After the Service?
After service, people stick around to talk, laugh, and catch up, because here, we believe in doing life together, not just “going to church.”
You’ll often find folks sharing prayer requests, chatting over coffee, or planning the next Ladies Club or fellowship night. We’re a family of believers who genuinely enjoy spending time together.
If you’re new, we’d love to meet you! Don’t hesitate to say hello to Pastor Dave or Angel after the service, they’re thrilled to welcome you personally.
What If I’m Not Sure Where I Fit In Yet?
That’s okay — you don’t have to have it all figured out.
Whether you’re searching for hope, answers, or a fresh start, you’re welcome here. CUCC is a place to ask questions, learn at your own pace, and experience God’s love without pressure or pretense.
